Stamperia Venieri

The collaboration between Relic and Recanati’s Liceo Classico G.Leopardi started with the foundation of Stamperia Venieri, an art print factory that is the creation of artist Jacopo Pannocchia, a professor of the institute. At the heart of the project is the combination of literature and engraving.
The combining of humanistic skills with those of art and craftsmanship taken from the ancient world and reviewed in a modern key gave rise to the idea of ‘’binding‘’ together the works in the collection in the form of an artist’s book.

Inferno e Apocalisse

Inferno is the first volume of an exclusive art project that finds its second expression with Apocalisse, in 2023. The concept developed by Relic provided for the production of only 3 copies for each edition, containing 20 engravings created by the students, completely hand-bound and enclosed within a cover designed with particular attention to the graphic choices and materials used, in research of a style in line with the works contained. The works, together with the artist’s proofs, were presented and exhibited at the Civic Museum of Villa Colloredo Mels in Recanati.
